Come join Natural High Alpine Adventures on a small group expedition to Mera Peak (6,654m) in the Nepal Himalayas. We will trek through the remote Hinku Valley and experience the ancient culture of the Nepali people. The highlight of the climb will be

establishing a high camp on Mera at 5800 metres where we will be rewarded with spectacular views of the great mountains of the Himalayas such as: Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Ama Dablam, Cho oyo, Lhotse and Mt. Everest.

The climb involves glacier travel on moderate slopes so experience with ice axe and crampons is recommended and good physical fitness is important. Plenty of time will be given for proper acclimatization as we pass over high-mountain passes on our approach. On our return trek we will travel through the famous Khumbu region and immerse ourselves in the culture of the Sherpa people. We will also take time at basecamp for a snow and glacier school.

Day 1: Meet in Kathmandu
Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Day 3: Fly to Lukla and trek
Day 4 to 11: Approach trek to base camp
Day 12 to 14: Climb and descend Mera Peak
Day 15 to 21: Trek back to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu for celebration dinner
Day 22: Cultural Sightseeing
Day 23: Farewell after breakfreast
