Everest base camp trek
Join us for an incredible adventure as we hike to Everest base camp
in the Nepal Himalayas. Trekking in Nepal is an unforgettable journey
and Natural High can provide you with many memories. Our Sherpa
team will surely impress as you enjoy the views of Himalayan giants
with a cup of tea from the comfort of your tent. Our route Follows
the footsteps of Sir Edmond Hillary and Tenzing Norgay as they approached
Everest base camp over 50 years ago. We will travel through the
homeland of the Sherpas, across high mountain passes and through
valleys of the world's highest mountains.
Our Everest base camp trek kicks off in the fascinating city of
Kathmandu. As we prepare for our trek we can enjoy the quiet restful
charm of the best hotel in Kathmandu. During our stay in Kathmandu
we are treated to a cultural history of the city with a sightseeing
tour that is truly remarkable. We stage our Everest base camp trek
from the village of Lukla and if you think trekking in Nepal is
an adventure wait until you experience the breathtaking mountain
flight we take from Kathmandu to Lukla. From Lukla our journey takes
us through many Sherpa villages including the famous Namche Bazaar,
the unofficial centre of the Sharpas. We have the opportunity to
witness a Buddhist ceremony in the largest monastary in the region.
Finally we reach Gorak Shep the highest permanently occupied village
on the planet. The next day is a day trek to Everest base camp where
our Sherpa staff will serve up a delicious lunch before we return
to Gorak Shep. Upon returning to Kathmandu from our Everest base
camp trek you can enjoy a day or two relaxing by the pool or enjoying
the sights and sounds of Kathmandu.
