We would like to provide our guests with a challenging alpine experience combined with
a cultural emphasis on each trip. We believe that by immersing ourselves in the culture
of the indigenous people we gain a greater understanding of our generous hosts and we
are forever enriched by the experience. Natural High Alpine Adventures is committed to
sustainable tourism (yes, mountaineering in a foreign country is tourism). To promote
sustainable tourism our trips will follow local customs and protocols to minimize our
cultural and environmental impact to our host. We understand that some countries rely
on tourism dollars and we are dedicated to protecting their economic growth for years to come.
We are also committed to |
|
preserving tourism and the environment for future visitors.
We hire local staff and purchase locally
produced goods whenever possible. We believe in preserving our natural environment and therefore our trips are run in the
most environmentally friendly way possible. For example, in |
|
Nepal our guests will be
provided with clean drinking water to eliminate the need to purchase plastic bottles of water.
Natural High Alpine Adventures will contribute 1.5% of sales to environmental and cultural projects in the countries that we visit.

Safety is our primary concern. There are some risks that come with mountaineering activities
and although they cannot be totally eliminated it is our goal to minimize these risks and
bring everyone home safely. Our guides have been trained in guiding techniques, Advanced Wilderness
First Aid (80 hours), CPR and rescue. To help minimize these risks Natural High Alpine Adventures
prepares a written risk management plan for each expedition.
